What You’ll Do
• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex GL claims, including claims with litigation exposure
• Analyze exposures and determine strategy: next steps, settlement approach, reserves, and resolution path
• Coordinate and communicate with all parties involved (claimants, insureds, attorneys, vendors, internal partners)
• Deliver strong claimant experience with empathy and professionalism
• Handle claims in accordance with client requirements, corporate policies, and statutory/regulatory/ethics standards
• Document claim activity timely, clearly, and consistently to support outcomes and file quality
• Partner with clients to improve claims outcomes and processes
What You Need
• High school diploma
• 5+ years of related claims experience (GL background specifically)
• Knowledge of industry standards and practices for GL claims handling
• Strong computer skills with claims and business software
• Active adjuster licenses: TX, FL, NY, HI, RI (and/or reciprocals), plus willingness to obtain all required licenses within their timeframe
