What You’ll Do

  • Manage an arbitration caseload for provider disputes (IDR)
  • Determine appropriate plan payment offers for arbitration cases
  • Draft persuasive briefs and documented arguments for arbitration packages (per federal regulations)
  • Conduct due diligence and research (online, portals, apps) to support case analysis
  • Partner with other departments to obtain needed info and submit complete IDR packages
  • Review and analyze clinical and provider-submitted documentation (moderate to high complexity)
  • Meet federal filing deadlines and turnaround times
  • Track and document communications and case activity with detailed accuracy
  • Reach out to clients to collect missing data for arbitration packages
  • Hit productivity and quality standards
  • Maintain privacy and compliance under HIPAA

What You Need

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 4+ years experience in healthcare operations
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (related field)
  • Strong organizational + analytical skills with confident independent decision-making
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-changing environment
  • Solid business judgment and proactive problem-solving
  • Strong written communication (you’ll be writing briefs, so this matters)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Comfort with extended computer-based work (sitting, typing, screens)
