This is basically “insurance real estate.” You’re building your own book, setting your own schedule, and getting paid largely on commissions and renewals. If you want autonomy and you’re comfortable being the engine (prospecting, networking, selling), this could be a great fit. If you want a stable paycheck and clear day-to-day structure, this will feel stressful fast.
About Pyron Group
Pyron Group is a people-first insurance agency focused on personal lines and community-driven service. They position the culture around empathy, simplicity, collaboration, and “joyful service.”
Schedule
• Full-time, 100% remote
• Mississippi residents only (more states “to come”)
• No fixed quotas; you control your pace and schedule

⦁ Quote, bind, and deliver a strong client experience from first contact through renewal
⦁ Manage and service your book of business, using agency support as needed
⦁ Maintain licensing and follow regulatory requirements
⦁ Participate in optional mentorship/training resources
What You Need
⦁ Must be a Mississippi resident
⦁ Strong self-starter mindset and comfort working independently
⦁ Sales confidence and relationship-building skills (insurance, real estate, direct sales, or customer service backgrounds can translate)
⦁ Digitally savvy (CRM, quoting platforms, remote tools)
⦁ Property & Casualty license OR ability to obtain it (Mississippi preferred)
Benefits
⦁ Benefits depend on the compensation track you choose
⦁ Medical, dental, vision
⦁ HSA/FSA with employer contributions
⦁ Wellness program/resources
⦁ 401(k) with match
⦁ Company-paid life + short-term disability
⦁ Optional long-term disability + supplemental life
Compensation
⦁ Commission-based with renewals (residual income)
⦁ “Choose your track” based on your financial needs and confidence in selling
⦁ As your book grows, they may assign a dedicated account manager to support you
Backbone note: this isn’t a “job,” it’s a small business with training wheels. It’s a yes only if you’re willing to prospect every week, consistently, even when you don’t feel like it. Also, the Mississippi-only restriction makes it a hard no if you’re not living there right now.
Happy Hunting,
