This isn’t “entry-level bookkeeping.” It’s a client-facing, team-lead-ish role where you’re accountable for month-end close quality and you’re basically the calm financial translator for small business owners (their “Pros”).

Benefits

Straight-no-chaser fit check:
- If you don’t have real month-end close + reconciliation reps, this will eat you alive. The job is built around accuracy and deadlines.
- If you do have that experience and you like being client-facing, this is a nice “advisor” lane that’s part bookkeeping, part customer success, part team lead.
Quick action step (because I’m not letting you overthink):
Answer these two in one message and I’ll write your best “How many years + leadership experience” application responses:
- What bookkeeping system(s) have you used (QuickBooks Online? Xero? others)?
- Have you actually closed books monthly (yes/no) and for how many clients/companies at once?
Happy Hunting,
