This role is all about getting money flowing clean and automated. You’ll own payer enrollments for ERA/EFT, keep billing and payment info current, and chase down missing EOBs so payments can be posted without delays.

What You’ll Do

⦁ Review incoming payments to identify payers eligible for EDI/ERA/EFT through the clearinghouse
⦁ Create ERA/EFT enrollments and follow up until approvals are completed
⦁ Coordinate with the clearinghouse to resolve enrollment issues and keep processes moving
⦁ Maintain payer billing and payment information by reviewing payer documents and identifying updates
⦁ Complete payer-specific update instructions and follow through to confirm completion
⦁ Retrieve missing EOBs by contacting payers so payments can be processed correctly
⦁ Request payer reprocessing when payments require additional info or EOB copies

What You Need

⦁ High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s degree in healthcare administration or similar is a plus
⦁ 1–2 years of experience in a healthcare-related role
⦁ Comfort working with payer documentation, deadlines, and follow-up cycles
⦁ Strong attention to detail and organized task tracking (enrollments can get messy fast if you don’t)
⦁ Clear communication skills for payer and clearinghouse coordination
