This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can run a collections operation with discipline and care. You’ll manage inventory, coach performance, protect quality, and keep early-out workflows moving in Epic without letting the team drift.

Schedule
• Remote
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
• Some travel may be required
• Leads both remote and onsite team members
What You’ll Do
• Provide daily oversight and direction for early-out operations
• Manage account inventory and deliver daily and weekly reports to the Operations Director
• Monitor productivity, document performance, and maintain accurate employee records
• Support training and onboarding initiatives to keep staff aligned and effective
• Step in during staff absences or high call volume periods to keep operations stable
• Coordinate overtime schedules based on workload needs
• Document disciplinary issues and partner with HR and leadership when needed
• Run quality assurance: account audits, productivity reviews, and performance evaluations
• Partner with the Client Services Manager to ensure service delivery meets client expectations and inventory flows smoothly through the revenue cycle
• Uphold company policies, code of conduct, and corporate compliance requirements
• Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned
What You Need
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience with Epic Systems
• Strong understanding of patient accounting processes
• Experience in early-out and healthcare collections
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, coach, and hold teams accountable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across staff and client stakeholders
• Professional, respectful demeanor with sound judgment
• Strong PC skills and comfort using business software
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel as needed
