• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Work may be office-based or at a client location depending on program needs
What You’ll Do
• Submit claims with the correct forms and required attachments
• Investigate denials and write appeals as needed to recover payment
• Determine which insurance to bill based on client-provided details and secure supporting documentation
• Research accounts to identify missing attachments and strengthen claim integrity
• Verify patient information and insurance benefits
• Document all actions thoroughly in the CUBS system and other required systems
• Write correspondence to clients when needed and support account resolution efforts
• Hit management goals consistently while maintaining confidentiality and compliance standards
• Maintain an organized workspace and support special projects as assigned
• Build productive working relationships with state and federal agencies
What You Need
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of insurance billing experience preferred
• Familiarity with multiple insurance payers is a plus
• Typing speed of 30–40 WPM and solid PC skills
• Strong written and verbal communication, especially for appeals and client correspondence
• Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, professional, and able to work with minimal supervision
