Schedule
• Fully remote: United States
• Hours: Sunday–Thursday, 12:00pm–8:00pm ET
• Weekly hours: 32–40 hours
• Workspace: Quiet, private setup with reliable internet required
What You’ll Do
• Ensure lab orders, prescription refills, and prior authorizations are fulfilled accurately and on time
• Manage faxed requests, medical documentation, and patient forms while staying compliant with healthcare regulations
• Communicate provider updates and care recommendations to patients with professionalism and empathy
• Support patients via phone, email, and in-app messaging with timely, accurate responses
• Help with scheduling, telehealth logistics, and general questions about care plans and Allara’s services
• Provide personalized guidance as patients navigate their healthcare journey
• Relay patient information accurately between patients, providers, and internal teams
• Stay current on clinical workflows to support providers smoothly and consistently
What You Need
• 1.5+ years experience in a support role (medical reception, patient coordination, telehealth support, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with sensitive conversations
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organization
• Creative problem-solving skills to keep requests moving without delays
• Strong technical ability and comfort working across multiple systems with sensitive data
• Medical reception experience and familiarity with EHR systems preferred
• Reliable internet and a private workspace for confidential patient communications
