  • Team: Retirement Sales / Internal Sales Desk

What You’ll Do

  • Provide concierge-level support on high-impact annuity applications and New Business cases.
  • Monitor, track, and assist in processing new business to keep cases moving smoothly through the pipeline.
  • Follow up on not-in-good-order (NIGO) business and call advisors to resolve issues quickly and accurately.
  • Partner with internal and external wholesalers to support territory sales after meetings and calls.
  • Handle product inquiries, illustration requests, rate questions, and updates on pending applications.
  • Fulfill orders for marketing materials and sales literature to support advisor activity.
  • Support calling campaigns to launch new products and uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Answer inbound calls on the Sales Desk 800 line, providing product information, rates, and service support.

What You Need

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
  • Annuity application processing experience strongly preferred.
  • Prior customer service or sales support experience, ideally with a desire to move into a more advanced sales role.
  • Clear, professional communication skills and strong relationship-building ability.
  • Solid attention to detail and comfort working with financial product information.
  • Willingness to learn Symetra’s products, systems, and licensing requirements.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship provided).
