- Location: Remote within the United States
- Status: Full time
- General hours: Monday through Friday, standard business hours
- Structure: Leadership role with about 50% billable project work and 50% management/oversight
- Environment: Virtual, cross-functional collaboration with CDI Director, SVP, project leads, and remote CDIS staff
What You’ll Do
- Support the overall success of the CDI Staffing Division while partnering closely with the Director and SVP of CDI Services
- Communicate daily with Directors, Managers, Leads, and staff about schedule needs, staffing, and project assignments
- Oversee onboarding for concurrent review CDIS to ensure they understand workflow, expectations, and system access
- Review weekly productivity reports with each Project Lead and help create remediation plans when performance issues arise
- Review and approve timecards weekly and surface trends or concerns to CDI leadership
- Track and report project status updates to the Director on a weekly basis and as needed
- Assist with CDI education: help develop, refine, and sometimes deliver training content
- Support new hire orientation and contribute to ongoing education topics with the CDI Director
- Monitor maintenance and organization of SharePoint folders for all staffing projects
- Round virtually with each CDI Project Lead weekly to identify needs, risks, and opportunities on individual projects
- Maintain approximately 50% billable time each month while still meeting leadership and management expectations
- Report work time and work products accurately and on time, maintaining a high standard of quality and detail
What You Need
- Current RN license required; BSN or MSN preferred
- CDI credential from ACDIS (CCDS) or AHIMA (CDIP)
- Experience working remotely with EMR systems and telecommuting tools
- Strong analytical judgment with the ability to review productivity, spot trends, and develop remediation plans
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and comfort with management or tracking systems
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and train others in a healthcare or CDI setting
- Ability to manage multiple clients, projects, and files at once with minimal supervision
- Deep knowledge of medical and healthcare policies, processes, and CDI best practices
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and professionalism in all client and internal interactions
