Schedule
• Full-time remote role (U.S.-based only)
• Standard Monday–Friday scheduling
• Must have reliable phone and internet, plus a secure home workspace

Responsibilities
• Code Professional Fee encounters across 1–4 specialties (examples include Pediatrics, OB, Ortho, Podiatry, Pain Management, Plastics, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, ED, Pulmonary, and others)
• Calculate ProFee E/M levels using CorroHealth’s internal algorithm
• Identify critical care encounters based on patient acuity
• Code ER-related surgical procedures to ensure accurate revenue capture
• Apply ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and (where relevant) ICD-10-PCS codes with full specificity
• Interpret and apply official coding guidelines accurately
• Evaluate documentation and determine reimbursement impact
• Maintain productivity and accuracy of 95 percent or higher
• Adhere to AHIMA Standards of Ethical Coding and internal compliance policies
• Participate in ongoing education and required training
• Protect PHI and follow all privacy/security rules

Requirements
• Active AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) certification
• Minimum 2 years of paid ProFee coding experience
• Strong working knowledge of EMRs and billing systems
• Reliable phone, secure internet connection, and up-to-date coding references (CPT & ICD-10-CM)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and communicate professionally
• Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work independently
