Schedule
• Full-time, remote within the U.S.
• Standard Monday–Friday workflow
• Requires reliable internet, phone access, and a secure home workspace

What You’ll Do
• Perform accurate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding across 1–4 specialties (ProFee, Facility, and/or HCC)
• Calculate ProFee and/or Facility E/M levels using company algorithms
• Code surgical procedures typical in ER settings to ensure accurate revenue capture
• Identify and flag critical care cases based on patient acuity
• Apply ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes to the highest level of specificity
• Interpret coding guidelines and ensure compliant code assignment
• Maintain productivity and accuracy benchmarks of 95 percent or higher
• Adhere to all AHIMA Standards of Ethical Coding and CorroHealth compliance policies
• Participate in ongoing training and education
• Protect PHI and ensure full compliance with privacy and security standards
• Support additional departmental responsibilities as assigned

What You Need
• Active AAPC (CPC/COC) or AHIMA (CCS/CCS-P) certification
• Minimum 6 months of professional on-the-job coding experience
• Proficiency with EMRs, billing systems, and Microsoft Excel/Outlook
• Ability to interpret documentation and make informed coding decisions
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Reliable internet connection and current coding references (CPT, ICD-10-CM)
• Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and maintain exceptional attention to detail
