Schedule
• Full-time remote role (Central Zone residency required)
• Standard business hours with billing/collections workflow
• Collaboration with reimbursement teams, payers, and internal departments
Responsibilities
• Submit accurate, timely invoices for all services and infusion products
• Verify contract terms, fee schedules, quantities, prices, and authorizations
• Ensure supporting documentation is complete and compliant before billing
• Review and post payments; apply payments accurately to patient accounts
• Confirm payments align with fee schedules and payer requirements
• Generate secondary claims and patient invoices within required timelines
• Identify overpayments, duplicate payments, and misapplied transactions
• Follow up on outstanding claims; confirm receipt and processing status
• Send statements, collections letters, and follow-up communication
• Resolve denials within 48 hours; escalate issues as needed
• Maintain strict HIPAA and confidentiality standards
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0–6 months experience in infusion reimbursement or intake/admissions (training available)
• Basic Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Strong accuracy, organization, and follow-through
• Ability to work independently and uphold confidentiality
• Understanding of billing workflows and payer communication
