Schedule
• Full-time remote role
• Standard business hours with flexibility
• Collaboration required across multiple time zones
• Occasional coverage for cash posters during short-term absences
What You’ll Do
• Post, review, research, and reconcile daily cash receipts
• Monitor collections activity and ensure adherence to payor contracts
• Resolve discrepancies and manage automated payment files
• Maintain accurate records of unidentified cash and clear accounts monthly
• Train and support Cash Posters and partner with Executive Directors and Revenue Cycle Portfolio Leaders
• Maintain working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payor rules
• Build strong relationships with billers, collectors, and service center AR teams
• Attend BAM meetings to report on collections and cash performance
• Assist on payor-related projects and provide coverage during absences
What You Need
• At least three years of healthcare billing and collections experience (home health/hospice preferred)
• Strong accuracy, detail management, and independent judgment
• Clear communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to collaborate tactfully with internal teams, payors, and referral sources
• High level of initiative, flexibility, and accountability
