Schedule
• Full-time
• Fully remote with optional hybrid collaboration at HQ

• Close coordination with billing, AR, and insurance teams
What You’ll Do
• Prepare and resubmit corrected claims in alignment with payer rules and contract requirements
• Review and resolve first-pass claim rejections to ensure clean claim submissions
• Research and follow up on outstanding primary and secondary claims across assigned payers
• Review, process, and resubmit claim appeals with complete supporting documentation
• Evaluate accounts and recommend adjustments or write-offs based on collectability
• Identify billing trends, errors, or inconsistencies and communicate them to management
• Generate and distribute monthly patient balance statements
• Maintain accurate, compliant billing and reimbursement workflows
What You Need
• One to three years of medical insurance billing and collections experience (preferred)
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Office, Excel, and Word
• Experience with physical therapy EMR systems (a plus)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Customer-focused attitude with problem-solving ability
• Ability to meet goals and manage competing priorities
