Schedule
Full-time remote role
Pay: $26–$30 per hour (based on experience, skills, and location)
What You’ll Do
Coordinate documentation collection for onboarding, underwriting, and merchant setup
Maintain and update reports that support Payment Operations and partner teams
Monitor project progress and resolve issues as they arise
Work with project managers to eliminate blockers during onboarding
Collect underwriting documentation from clients
Assist with due diligence to ensure accuracy and compliance
Research and resolve merchant inquiries independently
Execute accurate merchant setup and configuration
Update merchant files and maintain proper documentation
Process onboarding applications and coordinate issue resolution
Understand the full onboarding and underwriting workflow for credit card and ACH processors
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of merchant setup issues
What You Need
Proficiency with Microsoft applications
Expert-level Excel skills preferred
Familiarity with project management frameworks
Strong attention to detail with analytical and investigative abilities
Excellent communication—verbal, written, client-facing, and internal
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage high-volume workflows
Strong customer service ability and relationship-building skills
Experience with JIRA or Salesforce is a plus
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience as an onboarding specialist or similar role preferred
Insurance, merchant services, or payments industry experience is a strong plus
