Through a technology-driven virtual care model, Pomelo engages patients early, identifies risks, and delivers coordinated clinical support throughout pregnancy, NICU stays, and the first postpartum year. Success is measured by real outcomes: fewer preterm births, lower maternal mortality, reduced NICU admissions, and decreased healthcare spend.

What You’ll Do

  • Review and submit claims within payer guidelines to ensure accurate, timely filing
  • Report on aging encounters and partner with clinicians to resolve issues
  • Resolve and appeal claim denials; escalate workflow improvements to the Revenue Cycle Manager
  • Reconcile ERAs, resolve holds, and manually post payments
  • Verify and update missing demographic and insurance information
  • Identify opportunities to improve billing workflows and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on small projects and process enhancements

What You Need

  • 3 or more years of experience in a revenue cycle or medical billing support role
  • Proficiency with medical billing software and EHR systems
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems with accuracy and adaptability
  • Independent, detail-driven thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment
