What You’ll Do
- Use the Artiva workflow system to follow up on patient bills and claims
- Recover revenue from commercial insurers, government programs, veteran benefits, employers, attorneys, and workers’ compensation carriers
- Identify root causes of denied or unpaid claims and determine next steps
- Obtain information needed to overturn denials, including medical necessity or employer details
- Ensure timely filing guidelines are met for accurate reimbursement
- Escalate complex cases to management as needed
- Communicate root-cause trends and account issues
What You Need
- Strong professionalism and adherence to compliance standards
- Knowledge of debt collection rules and HIPAA requirements
- Working proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong organization and record-keeping skills
- Basic math ability to calculate rates and adjustments
- Familiarity with CPT and ICD coding preferred
