What You’ll Do
- Submit diagnosis data to clients, vendors, and internal partners
- Develop monthly productivity and revenue projections
- Oversee chart assignment and monitor accounts on hold
- Prepare data and reporting for leadership review
- Audit diagnosis submissions and ensure coding accuracy
- Review prebill and postbill accounts and resolve workflow or documentation issues
- Collaborate with clinical, coding, and system teams to address complex matters
What You Need
- Three to five years of inpatient or outpatient coding experience in an acute care setting
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s preferred)
- AHIMA or AAPC certification (required)
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, MS-DRG, and APR-DRG
- Ability to compare documentation, code assignment, and charges with accuracy
- Experience with EMRs, encoders, CDI tools, and related software
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills

- Pay: $27.30–$40.95 per hour (based on experience and location)
