What You’ll Do
- Review and resolve escalated healthcare claims with accuracy and compliance
- Meet production and quality standards while maintaining timely turnaround
- Investigate claim issues, analyze root causes, and recommend improvements
- Handle customer and client inquiries related to claim escalations
- Review plan documents and system setup to ensure proper processing
- Identify trends and partner with internal teams to resolve recurring issues
- Support stop-loss renewal processes as assigned
- Maintain clear follow-up procedures to ensure issue resolution
- Assist with projects and special requests from leadership
What You Need
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare claims processing, examination, or adjudication
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and billing practices
- Familiarity with multiple claims processing platforms; Anthem experience is a plus
- Proven attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to build effective client and team relationships
