What You’ll Do
- Contact clients to resolve overdue balances and secure payments
- Analyze AR aging reports and surface at-risk accounts
- Manage and negotiate payment arrangements and escalations
- Resolve short-pays, over-pays, and unapplied cash with AR partners
- Maintain detailed account notes across systems (Salesforce, NetSuite, Maxio)
- Escalate accounts for credit hold or external collections when appropriate
- Assist with bad-debt write-offs and documentation
- Identify credit risks and propose improvements to collections processes
- Partner with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
What You Need
- 3+ years of collections experience; B2B preferred
- Strong communication and client-handling skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
- Experience with ERP/CRM platforms (NetSuite, Salesforce, Maxio bonus)
