Location
Remote — must reside in one of the following states:
Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, or Washington.

40 hours per week
Compensation
$17.50 – $19.00 per hour, depending on experience
What You’ll Do
- Review encounter documentation and assign correct ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
- Select primary diagnoses and apply appropriate modifiers
- Finalize encounter data, including physician and service details
- Query providers for documentation clarification when needed
- Stay current on coding rules and billing regulations
- Meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly accuracy and productivity goals
- Assist with denied claims and verify patient eligibility when required
- Identify revenue cycle process improvements
- Follow HIPAA and privacy regulations
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of physician coding experience
- CPC (AAPC) or AHIMA certification — or actively pursuing certification
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online systems
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Professional communication skills and ability to work independently
