What You’ll Do
- Process high-volume invoices and ensure accurate, compliant billing
- Manage refund requests and communicate with policyholders
- Prepare monthly accuracy and revenue reports for leadership
- Handle biweekly carrier payables and weekly chargebacks
- Generate AR statements and intent-to-cancel notices
- Reconcile accounts and apply incoming payments accurately
- Submit overdue accounts to collections when needed
- Process policy cancellations and documentation
- Support finance agreements and contract processing
- Perform additional accounting tasks as assigned
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- 2+ years accounting experience (insurance industry preferred)
- Experience with agency billing, collections, and reconciliation
- Proficiency in accounting software; VUE or AMS experience a plus
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH)
- Strong communication, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
