Schedule

  • Full-time, remote (U.S.)
  • ~2 travel visits per month to office locations nationwide
  • Cross-functional collaboration with clinical, operations, and compliance teams

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure office and staff compliance across assigned states
  • Maintain adherence to state licensing and Joint Commission standards
  • Oversee employee onboarding and personnel file compliance
  • Support compliance for admissions, documentation, treatment, and discharge processes
  • Conduct routine environment-of-care and safety checks
  • Host and prepare for regulatory site visits and audits
  • Develop corrective action plans and monitor follow-through
  • Write policies, procedures, and regulatory crosswalks
  • Ensure emergency drills, internal inspections, and assessments are completed
  • Support licensing processes for mental health and SUD facilities
  • Partner with Recruiting and Training to ensure staff credentialing requirements
  • Oversee incident reporting and root-cause analysis for sentinel events
  • Mentor teams on compliance best practices

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s in healthcare or related field (legal background a plus)
  • 5+ years in healthcare or behavioral health compliance
  • 2+ years managing a team
  • Joint Commission Behavioral Health experience required
  • Track record leading state regulatory surveys
  • Strong relationship, communication, and coaching skills
  • Ability to manage complex projects and regulatory timelines
  • Skilled in influencing senior leadership and driving execution

Benefits

  • Full-time exempt role with comprehensive benefits
  • Target salary range: $84,000 – $108,000 base
  • Target total cash comp up to ~$118,000 with bonus
  • Remote flexibility #LI-REMOTE
