What You’ll Do
- Perform outpatient facility coding audits using ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers
- Document clear rationales for changes with precise references and source locations
- Educate coders via the audit process and stay current on regulatory updates
- Prioritize multiple cases to meet workflow, quality, and turnaround goals
- Uphold AHIMA’s Code of Ethics while collaborating professionally with client teams
What You Need
- 5+ years of outpatient facility coding and/or auditing with 95% accuracy
- Preferred: Strong skill set in SDS, ED, Observation, I&I; eValuator experience is a plus
- CCS preferred (RHIA/RHIT a plus); experience with Epic, Cerner, and other major EMRs
- Strong organization, teamwork, leadership, and customer-service mindset
