Schedule
Full-time, remote role based in New York, NY. Requires a minimum of 42 hours per week, with occasional weekends and extra hours as needed.
What You’ll Do
- Adjudicate assigned claims per policy Terms & Conditions.
- Review medical records, lab results, and invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Process claim assessments and payments.
- Verify coverage and consult with veterinary practices as needed.
- Meet productivity and quality assurance benchmarks while providing feedback to improve processes.
What You Need
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a veterinary technician.
- Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science or CVT/equivalent preferred.
- Property & Casualty Adjuster license in good standing preferred (must complete state adjuster licensing).
- Strong understanding of veterinary medical terminology, records, and disease processes.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and operate multiple systems simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
