Full-time | Fully Remote | $23–$24 per hour
What You’ll Do
- Compile, audit, and submit medical stop loss claims with all supporting documentation.
- Monitor claim statuses and follow up with carriers to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Communicate effectively with stop loss carriers, internal teams, and clients to resolve issues.
- Prepare and file aggregate accommodation, level-funded, and final claim submissions.
- Manage appeals for denied or reduced claim reimbursements.
- Track aggregate positions, funding balances, and monthly reporting.
- Reconcile claim activity and prepare monthly and year-end filings.
- Interpret stop loss policy provisions and group plan documentation.
- Identify process improvements and assist with system updates or procedural changes.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
- 1–2 years of claims experience in a self-funded environment.
- Familiarity with stop loss contracts, terminology, and reimbursement processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to build positive relationships with carriers, brokers, and clients.
- Accounting or finance experience a plus.
