What You’ll Do
- Prepare and submit corrected claims to insurance companies following payer and contractual guidelines.
- Research and resolve rejected or delayed claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Manage re-billing, payment posting, adjustments, and appeals with precision and compliance.
- Evaluate accounts for adjustments or write-offs and recommend solutions to leadership.
- Identify and communicate billing issues or discrepancies to maintain revenue integrity.
- Generate and distribute monthly patient balance statements to support transparency.
What You Need
- 1–3 years of experience in medical billing and collections.
- Knowledge of multi-state insurance regulations and claims processing.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and EMR systems (preferred).
- Customer-focused mindset with attention to accuracy and compliance.
