Schedule
- Full-time, remote role (U.S. based)
- Standard business hours with claim volume deadlines to meet client expectations
What You’ll Do
- Contact healthcare providers to negotiate claim savings and build strong working relationships
- Research claims and generate agreements through written and verbal communication
- Negotiate counteroffers and escalate complex cases as needed
- Manage a high volume of claims in queue, ensuring timely resolution for multiple clients
- Meet departmental performance metrics while maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards
- Document all actions accurately and collaborate with internal teams to improve processes
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED required; healthcare or insurance certification a plus
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare, medical insurance, provider billing, collections, or managed care (or 1+ year as a Claims Resolution Specialist I)
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9/10, and revenue codes preferred
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage high-volume workloads with attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfort using MS Office Suite and CRM/database tools
