Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Remote role (must be based in Illinois)
- Monday through Friday schedule
Responsibilities
- Provide a seamless onboarding experience for new infusion patients referred to CVS Specialty and Coram.
- Interact directly with patients, physicians, caregivers, and internal teams to answer questions, solve problems, and deliver education.
- Support processing of new referrals and admissions.
- Balance compassion with professionalism to ensure high-quality patient experiences.
- Maintain working knowledge of insurance, healthcare processes, and medical terminology.
- Perform routine assessments and identify potential problems during the onboarding process.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- 2+ years of experience in customer service and/or healthcare.
- 2+ years of healthcare insurance coverage/benefits experience.
- 1+ year of experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare insurance and medical terminology.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (preferred).
