About the Revenue Cycle Team
The Intake Financial Clearance team supports patient access and financial clearance across multiple practices. Specialists interact daily with insurance carriers, patients, and providers to ensure smooth pre-registration, insurance verification, and prior authorization processes.

What You’ll Do
- Review registration, referral, and authorization work queues to secure financial clearance
- Verify insurance information, eligibility, and coverage prior to scheduled services
- Obtain referrals, pre-certifications, and authorizations as required by payers
- Accurately document referral and authorization details in practice management systems
- Work directly with patients, providers, and insurers to resolve clearance issues
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and regulatory guidelines
- Provide exceptional customer service while supporting clinicians and staff
What You Need
- High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred
- 1–3 years of patient registration and/or insurance experience (minimum 1 year in customer service)
- Knowledge of healthcare terminology and CPT/ICD-10 codes
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Zoom)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment
