What You’ll Do
- Retrieve medical records, process paperwork, and manage referrals and prior authorizations
- Virtually greet patients before neurology visits and support care coordination
- Advocate for patients and families with providers, insurers, and care partners
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and quality standards in all interactions
- Collaborate with internal teams and community partners to streamline care
- Represent Synapticure with professionalism, empathy, and patient-centered focus
What You Need
- Active Medical Assistant certification
- 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Experience handling and reviewing medical records
- Strong communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Background in startups or fast-growth organizations a plus
- Experience coordinating referrals and authorizations
