Schedule

  • Contract role (1099) – must reside and be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Remote, flexible, minimum of 20 hours/week
  • Availability between 8 am – 5 pm (time zone dependent), with regular daily client communication

Responsibilities

  • Track billable and payable hours accurately
  • Prepare and send invoices and billing materials
  • Collect, organize, and process expenses and reports
  • Review financial statements for errors or inconsistencies
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and team members to resolve billing discrepancies
  • Record payments, upcoming dues, and payment history in accounts
  • Provide financial solutions and assistance to clients with payment issues
  • Inform clients of upcoming or missed deadlines
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data
  • Support other billing and administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • 2+ years of billing, bookkeeping, or similar support experience
  • 2+ years working full-time in a virtual role
  • Experience with accounting software, CRMs, and project management tools
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Calendly, Slack, and related remote-work tech
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be self-motivated, reliable, and client-service oriented

Compensation

  • Freelance/contract role; hourly rate depends on experience and client fit
  • Contractors typically set their own freelance rates
