Schedule

  • Full-time remote role
  • Training: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm EST (mandatory)
  • After training, schedule determined by shift bid (must be flexible between 8:00am–9:00pm EST, including Saturdays)
  • Requires a quiet, private, distraction-free workspace and high-speed, hardwired internet meeting company standards

What You’ll Do

  • Answer 60–80 inbound calls daily from customers, caregivers, and referral sources to place or reorder medical supplies
  • Provide empathetic, professional support for order placement, product information, order status, discrepancies, and complaints
  • Process orders in accordance with scheduling, demand planning, and inventory requirements
  • Collect and document insurance billing details and patient payments
  • Navigate multiple computer systems and consult internal resources to achieve first-call resolution
  • Interpret insurance terminology and explain requirements clearly to customers
  • Escalate complex or unusual problems to supervisors as needed
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude in a high-volume call center environment

What You Need

  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–4 years of high-volume call center experience preferred
  • Previous remote/work-from-home experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in healthcare customer service, order placement, or insurance terminology is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and call center phone systems preferred
  • Excellent communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet daily call center metrics such as handle time, adherence, and QA standards
