Schedule

  • Full-time remote role
  • Flexible schedule with occasional overtime
  • Weekend work may be required to meet program demands

What You’ll Do

  • Collect and review patient insurance benefit information in line with program SOPs
  • Assist physician offices and patients in completing insurance forms and applications
  • Submit and track prior authorizations with third-party payors
  • Provide timely, accurate customer service to providers, payers, and patients
  • Maintain frequent phone contact with provider representatives, pharmacies, and insurance companies
  • Document all interactions in CareMetx Connect and report reimbursement trends/delays
  • Provide all necessary documentation to expedite authorizations (demographics, referrals, NPI numbers, etc.)
  • Work with inter-departmental associates to ensure seamless processes
  • Report adverse events as required by SOP

What You Need

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1+ years of experience in specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, physician’s office, or related healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy and medical benefits, with familiarity in commercial and government payers preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
