Key Responsibilities
- Process Fifth Third Bank and M&T Bank downloads for payment posting
- Import electronic checks and credit cards into the Cash Clearing System (CCS)
- Scan insurance and self-pay live checks and prepare lockboxes for posting
- Obtain and organize EOBs for live checks, lockboxes, and ERA files
- Prepare and distribute Daily Deposit Reports and Non-Reconciled Deposits Reports
- Maintain documentation and accuracy in CCS, coordinating with internal teams (Accounting, OCC MED, Allscripts)
- Research discrepancies and communicate issues to supervisors
- Support month-end close by ensuring accurate payment documentation
- Participate in team meetings and perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical billing or payment processing setting
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a structured, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Zoom
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven success working collaboratively to meet organizational goals
