Digitech is seeking a Medical Coder to review EMS claims, assign service levels, carriers, and ensure all details are accurate for timely processing. This is a fully remote role designed for individuals with medical billing expertise and strong attention to detail who thrive in a deadline-driven environment.

- Full-time, remote role
- Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm ET (Eastern Time)
What You’ll Do
- Review EMS claims and assign appropriate levels of service, carriers, and required details
- Verify signatures, medical necessity, and accuracy of service levels
- Correct discrepancies, including trip mileage errors
- Manage a high volume of claims daily while meeting performance deadlines
- Ensure compliance with EMS coding rules, regulations, and filing timelines
What You Need
- Prior medical billing experience required
- Experience as a Paramedic, EMT, RN, LPN, or prior EMS claim coding strongly preferred
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Minimum typing speed: 40 WPM
- Superior attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet daily quotas in a monitored environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
