Our client, a non-profit organization, is hiring an HR Coordinator to support their people-first mission. This is a fully remote role where you’ll play a key part in HR program implementation, compliance, and employee support while helping strengthen organizational culture and development.


About the Organization
This non-profit is dedicated to community impact and employee wellbeing, offering inclusive and mission-driven work. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources and Payroll, the HR Coordinator will support diverse HR functions and ensure smooth operations across recruitment, employee relations, and workforce programs.


Schedule

  • Permanent, full-time position
  • 100% remote
  • Standard business hours, with flexibility to meet organizational needs

What You’ll Do

  • Respond to daily HR inquiries and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Maintain employee records in the Elevate HRMS system
  • Support payroll by tracking and submitting employee data forms
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment using the Elevate ATS, including screening, interviews, and onboarding
  • Oversee the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) Program and internship placements
  • Coordinate orientation sessions, workplace accommodations, and return-to-work processes
  • Prepare and manage HR documentation including onboarding, reviews, terminations, and leaves
  • Manage HR SharePoint content, announcements, and tax-related forms (T2200, T1223, etc.)
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects and backup for payroll/benefits

What You Need

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field
  • CHRP/CHRL designation (or in progress) is an asset
  • 3–5 years of HR coordination and administration experience
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS/HRMS platforms (Elevate HR preferred)
  • Knowledge of Canadian employment legislation (ESA, OHSA, AODA, Human Rights Code)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Dynamics, Teams, Zoom, and advanced Excel
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Discretion with confidential information and strong attention to detail
  • Experience with CSJ or government-funded programs a plus
  • Bilingualism (English/French or other languages) is a strong asset
