Schedule
- Full-time, remote (must reside in an eligible state: AL, AZ, AR, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MS, MO, MT, NE, NH, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WV, WI, WY)
- Evening and Saturday availability may be required
What You’ll Do
- Contact responsible parties on delinquent loans via phone or written communication
- Work with members to identify causes of delinquency and create repayment plans
- Provide recommendations and repayment options, including cross-selling credit union products
- Document activity and recommend further action when necessary to protect the credit union’s interest
- Consistently deliver courteous, member-focused service in all interactions
What You Need
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
- 6+ months of customer service or sales experience
- At least 1 year of collections experience preferred
- Strong telephone communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Prior call center experience beneficial
- Ability to sit for extended periods, use a computer, and manage multiple tasks
