What You’ll Do
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and respect
- Help customers settle balances and set up payment arrangements
- Follow compliance guidelines and federal/state requirements for collection activities
- Meet assigned performance goals and account resolution targets
- Accurately document account activity and maintain records for follow-up
- Provide customers with accurate information using all available resources
- Escalate urgent issues to management as needed
- Collaborate with team members and maintain a positive, professional work environment
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous collections experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Basic computer skills and high attention to detail
- Customer service mindset with ability to de-escalate difficult situations
Compensation
- Pay range: $16.00 – $26.00 per hour
