Schedule
- Full-time, remote position (work must be completed within the continental U.S., Alaska, or Hawaii)
- Monday–Friday, standard business hours
- U.S. citizenship required
What You’ll Do
- Manage staff across multiple patient financial service functions, including billing, patient access, and insurance follow-up
- Monitor performance metrics, KPIs, and compliance standards
- Provide training, professional development, and succession planning for team members
- Maintain compliance with regulations and client requirements
- Develop systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve escalated issues
- Prepare daily reports and manage quality assurance initiatives
What You Need
- 5+ years of experience in medical claims billing, patient accounting, and insurance contract comprehension
- 3–5 years of management experience in a hospital business office or Central Business Office (CBO)
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial billing practices
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; CRCR certification or equivalent a plus
- Familiarity with medical coding and billing methodologies
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with financial reporting, KPIs, and MS Office tools
