Schedule
- Full-time, remote role
- Standard Monday–Friday business hours with one weekend shift per month
- Evening and weekend flexibility may be required
What You’ll Do
- Work directly with customers to resolve inquiries and collect delinquent balances
- Review and monitor high volumes of accounts daily, executing optimal contact strategies
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with applicants, borrowers, and merchants
- Negotiate repayment plans across varying delinquency levels
- Respond to credit and chargeback disputes quickly and effectively
- Accurately document all interactions and account updates
- Skip-trace accounts lacking viable contact information
- Partner with management to identify borrower- and system-level improvements
- De-escalate difficult situations and present clear resolutions
What You Need
- 1+ years of collections experience (point-of-sale lending or dispute resolution a plus)
- Proven ability to negotiate repayment plans successfully
- Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail
- Knowledge of collections regulations preferred
- Intermediate Excel/Google Sheets skills desired
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced startup environment
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
