Schedule
- Full-time, remote position (must reside in AL, AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WI)
- Two evening shifts per week: 12pm–9pm CST and 10am–7pm CST
- One Saturday shift every 5 weeks
What You’ll Do
- Make outbound calls to past-due accounts to resolve delinquencies
- Research delinquent accounts and determine resolution strategies
- Process over-the-phone payments, including credit card transactions
- Provide hardship relief options in accordance with company policies
- Relay accurate account information regarding balances, statements, and interest
- Assist with overflow calls (disputes, recovery, bankruptcy, etc.)
- Contribute to administrative and in-office tasks as needed
- Use company resources to achieve one-call resolutions
What You Need
- Associate degree in business, finance, communication, marketing, or related field, OR relevant experience
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Internet, email)
- Excellent written and verbal communication with a professional phone presence
- Persuasion and negotiation skills with ability to manage stressful conversations tactfully
- Strong attention to detail and typing proficiency
- Team-player mindset with adaptability under deadlines
