Working Solutions is seeking independent contractors with bookkeeping and accounting expertise to support customers using QuickBooks Online or similar software. This flexible, remote role allows you to deliver professional customer care while helping users troubleshoot accounting processes, ledger entries, reconciliations, and more.

Schedule
- Contract, independent contractor role (1099)
- Flexible scheduling—you choose your hours
- Available program hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM CST
- Not available to contractors in CA, NY, PA, or WA
What You’ll Do
- Provide customer support via phone for QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software
- Assist callers with ledger entries, reconciliation, journal entries, and navigation
- Deliver patient, empathetic, and professional customer service
- Troubleshoot issues with confidence and ownership
- Cross-sell relevant products where appropriate
What You Need
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software
- Strong bookkeeping/accounting knowledge (AP, AR, reconciliation, journal entries)
- Prior customer service experience in phone-based support (remote or onsite)
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
- Ability to take ownership of customer issues and deliver effective solutions
- Tech-savvy and comfortable working independently
Technology Requirements
- Personal computer (Windows 11 required; limited Mac support via Boot Camp)
- Wired broadband internet (10 Mbps or faster; no Wi-Fi or mobile internet)
- Wired USB headset with microphone
- Valid antivirus software installed and running
- Quiet, distraction-free workspace
- VPNs not permitted during working hours
Earnings
- $0.33 per productive handle minute
- Minimum guarantee of 45 minutes per hour if logged in and available
- Independent contractor earnings model
