Schedule
- Full-time, remote (U.S.)
- Pacific Time Zone required (California preferred)
- Hourly, non-exempt role
What You’ll Do
- Review, prepare, and submit filings through Steno’s eFiling portal in compliance with court rules
- Enter client and order information into databases and monitor job status across platforms
- Prioritize rush assignments and communicate updates to clients with accuracy and hospitality
- Handle client emails and calls related to filings, service of process, and court requests
- Maintain detailed notes on customer interactions and escalate issues as needed
- Develop expertise in jurisdiction-specific filing requirements
- Close and invoice requests, ensuring service level agreements are consistently met
What You Need
- Legal or litigation support background, with experience preparing documents for filing and service of process
- In-depth knowledge of California Superior Court filing requirements
- 3+ years in customer service or legal documentation roles
- Experience with eFiling portals such as LegalConnect or One Legal
- Familiarity with legal CMS tools and support vendor networks
- Strong communication skills across all organizational levels
- Ability to manage detailed processes efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Residency in California (preferred) or Pacific Time Zone (required)
