Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities during business peaks
- Primarily remote, but candidates must live within 75 miles of Monroeville, PA (occasional in-office training or support required)
- Requires a distraction-free, secure home workspace with a hardwired internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload; WiFi/satellite not permitted)
What You’ll Do
- Verify benefits and resolve insurance-related issues for patient prescriptions
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with patients, providers, and insurance carriers
- Navigate multiple systems and portals to process orders efficiently
- Document cases with precision while meeting quality and productivity goals
- Deliver personalized, patient-first service to ensure on-time prescription delivery
What You Need
- 1+ years of experience in healthcare, benefits verification, billing, or insurance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and internet navigation
- 1+ years of computer keyboarding and data entry experience
- Must reside within 75 miles of Monroeville, PA
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills
- Prior pharmacy or healthcare benefits experience
- Knowledge of government and commercial insurance plans (PPO, HMO, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.)
- Experience with prior authorizations and coverage calculations
- Familiarity with Avaya-One X, Availity, Change Healthcare, or CoverMyMeds
