What You’ll Do
- Monitor and process payment denials in Enterprise Task Manager within assigned timeframes
- Research issues using phone and carrier websites to resolve claims quickly
- Assemble documentation to appeal disputed claims with Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Shield, and commercial carriers
- Assist with denial procedure improvements and provide input to management
- Report recurring claim errors that affect processing accuracy
- Meet quality assurance and production standards consistently
What You Need
- 1–3 years of physician medical billing experience, with emphasis on claim denials and research
- Strong knowledge of billing policies, procedures, and reimbursement guidelines
- General understanding of ICD and CPT coding
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and claim systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to work independently
