What You’ll Do
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims using the Artiva workflow system
- Analyze claims to identify causes of denial and determine corrective action
- Pursue missing information from insurers, employers, attorneys, or other responsible entities
- Draft appeals and supporting documentation to overturn denials
- Ensure claims are filed within payer deadlines for maximum reimbursement
- Escalate complex cases to management when needed
- Track recurring issues and report root causes to leadership
What You Need
- Strong professionalism and adherence to HIPAA and debt collection regulations
- Moderate computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Organizational and documentation skills for accurate recordkeeping
- Basic math ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Familiarity with CPT and ICD coding preferred
- Healthcare billing or claims experience a plus
