Schedule
- Contract-to-hire, remote role
- Part-time: 20–25 hours per week
- Flexibility to convert to full-time based on performance and business needs
What You’ll Do
- Screen active treatments for enrollment eligibility in pharmaceutical and nonprofit programs using AssistPoint®
- Verify patient insurance benefits and obtain prior authorizations as needed
- Complete financial cost estimates and assess patients’ financial capabilities
- Enroll patients into assistance programs with accurate documentation
- Communicate with client staff to secure signatures and submit required paperwork
- Ensure all eligible patients are searched and enrolled for assistance
- Collaborate with Account Leads to ensure proper workflow and timely client solutions
- Research and resolve outstanding client concerns
- Support training and orientation of new employees when assigned
What You Need
- Proven experience in healthcare billing (required)
- Proficiency in payer billing and requirements; manufacturer and foundation program experience preferred
- Oncology or specialty practice experience (desired)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage time, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Team-oriented mindset with service-driven approach
- Quick learner with passion for making a difference
