BroadPath is hiring Prior Authorization Specialists to work from home! In this role, you’ll handle medication prior authorization requests, supporting members, doctors’ offices, and healthcare teams by providing timely updates and ensuring accurate processing.

What You’ll Do
- Take inbound calls and faxes regarding medication prior authorization requests
- Provide updates to members and providers on authorization status
- Review provider documentation and enter data accurately into databases
- Contact healthcare providers for missing information or clarifications
- Multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail
- Collaborate with peers and work independently to resolve issues
What You’ll Need
- 1+ years of healthcare, claims, or medical administrative experience
- 2+ years of customer service or call center experience
- 1+ year of recent continuous employment with a prior employer
- Knowledge of medical and healthcare terminology
- Strong computer and data entry skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 100% attendance during training (no time off in the first 60 days)
- Required equipment: 19″ monitor (or larger) with VGA/HDMI, USB wired mouse, ethernet connection, reliable internet (25mbps down / 10mbps up), optional wired keyboard
Preferred: Prior hands-on experience with medication prior authorization processing.
